Willem Pretorius
Pretorius paints with oil on canvas. Quirky scenes of retired VW kombis set out to pasture in the veld; seasonal land scapes painted in and around the beautiful Rosendal; broken down old country homes with smashed windows and eager weeds. His work is can be amazingly detailed – sometimes with almost a sense of photorealism; or more abstract. Willem's work can be viewed at Skoppelmaai Gallery in Rosendal.
